Upon completion of this Training Programme and passing all exams. you can apply for a Basic / Static Guard Licence allowing you to work in several different areas: Retail Outlets, Construction Sites, Business Premises, Any Mobile Patrol Work, Cash-in-Transit, and Airport Security.

Work:
Once you secure the PSA Licence, you can seek work in any of the above areas.

CIVIL ENGINEERING - CADS - 2 D
AWARD: Tutoring / Grinds / Foundation Level

CAD is an increasingly critical skills component required of professionals.
Training in 2D CADS is providing to candidates from various disciplines including interior design, engineering, landscape design, architecture, retail design, shop-fitting and building services.

Course Content:
• Procedures for set-up • Utilizing Tool Bars • File management • Creating Prototypes • New drawings • Printing drawings • Editing drawn information • Applying hatch patterns • Layering • Creating and Inserting text • Isometric Drawing • Dimensioning

Learners are expected to have a basic knowledge of computers. It is advisable to have access to the CAD programme outside of class time for practice.

This Tutoring Programme which is at Foundation Level is geared towards students who are interested in learning all the fundamental aspects of 2D Design utilizing various Software Programmes: e.g. "ArchiCAD", "AutoCAD", "Revit".

CIVIL ENGINEERING - CADS 3D
AWARD: Tutoring / Grinds / Foundation Level

On completion of the course, students will have acquired a understanding in the use of World and User co-ordinate systems which are paramount in three dimensional CAD. Students will be competent in the manipulation and creation of objects within a three dimensional space using viewing commands such as VPOINT and DVIEW.
Phoenix “Minerva” provides CAD Training to candidates from various disciplines including College students, interior design, engineering, landscape design, architecture, retail design, shop-fitting and building services.
Course Content:
• Key features of the course include: • Co-ordinate systems • 3D Drawing • Solid & Surface Modelling • 3D Blocks & Symbols • 3D Views • Plotting & Printing 3D drawings
Prospective Candidates should have experience with CAD 2D prior to undertaking the 3D course. During the CAD 3D course, it is advisable to have access to the CAD programme outside of class time for practice.

This Tutoring/Training Programme which is at Foundation Level is geared towards students who have already had a grounding in 2D and are interested in:-

• Brushing up on 3D CADS utilized for Designing Private Dwelling houses, Commercial Properties, etc.

• Honing drafting skills during 3rd Level Training.

PLANNING

This Tutoring Programme which is at Foundation Level is geared towards students who are interested in the learning all aspects of Planning Process, from preliminary investigation, to Planning, to submitting Plans for Planning Permission, and all of the relevant Planning Regulations, and Civil Engineering aspects involved.
